I totally agree that the switching process between academic writing and content writing is intimidating and tricky! I have my background in psychology, recently finished my masters and am still working on writing up my dissertation for publication. I used to be a really creative writer and then I went down the academia route, it feels more difficult to get back to the creative writing life now!
